I played hockey growing up, most of us did. Some at higher levels than others. I didn’t play hockey at a very high level because I was too busy being really good in another sport my frame allowed me to excel at better.

Played JrA in Amherst NS. He was a noticeable as a 16 year old playing against 20 and 21 yr olds. Came back and was a beast at 17 and tearing up the league. Got a tryout in Moncton and we never saw him again. He has skill and will take on anyone. He would be a great replacement for Simmonds next year.

Yup played in Gatineau also .... He is what you call a late bloomer - Lots of time for that kid !

Looks more like the Leafs saw a bottom feeder sandwiched between several contenders on their schedule and felt it was a good chance to take the night off mentally. They look off tonight

No team is going to be up for 82 games, but I credit the Flyers because to this point they haven't done any of the things that would make it easy for Toronto to get some momentum. Hart has been solid so far as well.

Could be a frustrating one tonight. Time will tell.
