imo, he has always been a consistent and responsible player that doesn't fade in big games; but, can't finish well. Nothing new today.

He might not throw a lot of hits but it is really hard to find any Leaf over the past few years who has played his ass off every game. He also plays fearless and will take a beating to make a play.

If he wasn't traded for Kadri or had any kind of finish he would have been a fan favoirite.
