I hear you, but I think our division is not challenging at all. There are no Tampa's, B's or even Islanders. Our zone exits though are pleasure to watch for a change.

They are playing bad though. We are not this much better than them. I expect the rest of the game to be much more competative.

We held a team to one shot in a period. That is not the Leafs I remember. It looks like the group is coming into their own.
Justin Holl is flying out there. He might be the best defenseman on that 2nd pair. Mikheyev is moving his feet as well. Leave him right where he is.

I feel like Lehtonen is a threat to shoot whereas Rielly doesn't have that element. with a guy like Simmonds in front there should be a few more point shots on the PP to keep the defenders from smothering Marner and Matthews on the half boards.

Really? For a guy whose gotten so few reps i can see the PPQB tendencies in him on every play. Once you mix in the swagger required to play that position he will be really interesting to watch.

Holl looks very commanding out there tonight. It’s like he absorbed talent from checking McDavid so closely.

Lehtonen hesitated and looked off the shot but I was kind of hoping he would unleash there to get a peek of his shot from the point on the PP.
He's having a Grabner year so far. Hopefully his doesn't last the whole season.

Wonder if that wrist is just compromised. Before he got injured last year he was on fire with Nylander and Tavares. It's a shame because he could've been a legit top six option otherwise.
