This is the least bit surprising of a start. Toronto would always be rusty to start, and the flames got spanked last game. I expect a better 2nd and 3rd, but at this point they’ve dug themselves a decent hole to get out of. Not impossible though

Seriously stop defending the guy, are all the losses on him? No. Is he a part of the problem? Yes.

I turned it on after the first goal, so can’t speak to that one, but Freddy probably should’ve been able to save that second one.

It’s a stop a good goalie makes. You can tell Freddy’s confidence is shot. He over committed way to much on that second one.

Not all of his fault, Dermott was doing nothing on that play too.

First goal was a deflection from maybe 6 feet in front of him so basically zero chance on that one. I agree he shares the blame for the second one but not all on him either.

People yelling at Andersen need to wake up and look at some of the other guys skating aimlessly out there.
