All three of Holl, Engvall, and Kerfoot would carry a buried cap hit for Toronto. So no Toronto cant simply send them to the AHL and remove their full cap hit.

We know. Only need to clear about a million. If there's no market and if teams expect us to attatch an asset theres no point.

Send down any of the 3 activate Murray demote Woll and we're 50k under the cap.

Just because he doesn’t hit doesn’t mean he doesn’t use his size, he uses his reach well defensively and for puck protection.
Agreed, just leaves much more to desire. He has the tools, seems like an engagement issue.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him be a 2nd liner somewhere. Similar to Mikheyev

They do not need their full cap hit. They need just over a million, which is the amount they can bury.
Exactly.
They only have 13 forwards right now, so its likely Holl gets sent thru waivers, which gets them to a 22 man roster with roughly 55K in cap space. They can call him up during the playoff roster expansion.

But I doubt, Engvall, Holl, or Kerfoot makes it thru waivers.

With Engvall there's just no creativity or high end skill. He's not a bad player to have in the bottom of your lineup but his offensive game consists of pulling up in the offensive zone and cycling the puck high to the pointman.

That's really all I see him consistently do with the puck.

They really don't though.

While It's true they need to shed 1.8 million

Woll goes down, Zar gets waived that's just over 1.6 million.

Really they only need about 190K
They still need to move someone else in that scenario. Even to the Marlies. If you waive Kerfoot or Engvall you are a forward short for the remaining games in the regular season. You could waive Holl, that would be the only thing that makes sense if there is no trade.
