The PP was working well while Matthews is out, the overall talent in our top 12 is average, at best and the data directly reflects as much despite having Marner on pace for over 100 points and Nylander pacing for 50 goals.

As for that PP? Coaching staff had no business putting out multiple burnt players to start a PP.

Yeah. I give credit to Matthews for looking a lot more into it than on the weekend. But we’re talking about really low bar and baby steps here.
