I wish that would happen with other threads, like trade threads especially.

When it becomes official just start a new one, and add a link to the speculation thread.

Maybe this suggestion isn't "needed" but it would be nice...

I'll take it one step further...How about a 1st period thread, a 2nd period one, and a 3rd period one. Why? Sometimes we are busy and like to pop in and out of the forum, and it would be nice to revisit a thread or join one for the part of the game we are in.
