The willfully blind refs tried their best but we won anyways.

Welcome back Stolarz! Go Leafs Go!
Said it in the GDT but I’m pretty sure a Seattle player threw his stick at the end of the game to try to stop Nylander.
With an empty net that is an automatic goal.
Not that it matters with no time left and a 2 goal lead.

Don't often get a complete 60 minutes from this group.

Tonight it was a complete 60 minutes.

Stolarz picked up RIGHT where he left off

Good job boys.

Stolarz looked good and held off what was actually a pretty decent push from the Kraken.

Very professional performance
This is turning into a very nice road trip
Great to see Stolarz back and playing well to

One more big effort boys then you can enjoy your trips away

A deuce on the road always has a sweet flavour ain't no doubt about that.

Don't know what the numbers look like, but more than a couple guys had pretty sub-par performances. Don't want to dwell on it too long, but I know, new combos and all that. Matthews was credited as having 6 shots on, I'll have to watch the game again because it didn't seem that way. He seemed to be fighting the puck a bit, the ice? Maybe I guess?

Domi was flying and he seemingly had some good chemistry with the big boy, and Knies just looks kind of like a young Marion Hossa with attitude or the jumbo sized Brandon Hagel.

Gotta say that line looks like it could be special, its hard on the forecheck. I think that if Domi could improve on his D really special otherwise. Hope it grows!

60 minute hockey is required so they need to increase their game time. I wasn't kidding about their game being Leafs Blueprint. That game won't get you by Wash, Sens, Fla teams, and likely the Canes whom the Leafs have never beaten in the playoffs.

Phil Meyers, he may need a diplomacy course.but hey the guy got himself a goal he had a great vantage to see the play of JTs line, maybe he's on to something?

I'm sure the boys will have good time pulling his chain a little bit on the bus up to Vancouver. They should've gotten into the hotel room before 12 so they'll get adequate kip time

It's in the rear view, on to the next.

Start Stolarz on Saturday. Let Woll earn his starting spot back by competing with Stolarz

I was watching the Seattle feed this morn, from about mid way in the 2nd. Gotta say, even their commentators were questioning some of the calls that went against the Leafs, including Matthews high sticking penalty (phantom call?) late in the 3rd, and the Patches trip deep in the Kraken Dzone.

Most encouraging thing I saw tonight was Stolarz, followed by Rielly's game. Mo seems to be turning a corner, one hopes. I get the idea of JT's line, and would argue for more time with it. But goodness me, someone better at 3C, please! McMann is proving himself to be a much more valuable player than I expected him to ever be - even after last year's breakout - and Robertson's value would improve greatly if he had someone who could feed him a pass, though tonight's breakaway and dancing puck, ah never mind. I'm not sure how you can evaluate the 5 min total that Patches, Kampf and Lorentz played, other than to say they were on the ice for the lone goal against.
