I know that was a rough looking hit and then have the puck hit potentially an unprotected area of the chest.

I really hope it's nothing serious and that he just had the wind knocked out of him.

Looks like puck hit him in the chest. Hopefully it just knocked the wind out of him and they panicked and called over the paramedics and nothing too serious.

They have a team doctor. The doctor signalled for the paramedic to bring the stretcher. The team doctors don’t have stretchers beside them.

too early wont likely know until after the game. All it looked like was a concussion and then a puck to the chest so rib or heart issue. No way to know.

Scary there. Saw the replay. Seemed like a weird hit ... then the puck. Seemed okay then fell at the bench. Hope he's okay. Just a anxiety thing maybe.

I'm not saying it wasn't more... just how that went.... after the hit... Seemed winded.

Hopefully sitting down and getting more blood to his head he's okay.

To be fair the paramedic has no clue what’s going on and you can’t hear what the players on the bench are screaming in a full arena. Team doctors should have used the radio. A bit unfair to place it on anyone really

Looked relatively harmless. But wonder if Kuraly being woozy from the hit and then the puck hitting him in the wrong spot at the time of a heartbeat may have caused some arrhythmia. That was my first thought at least.

I mean I've spent plenty of time in rinks, on the ice, coaching, puttering, being a trainer. There's a pretty big difference between a full sprint on a fresh sheet vs. a light jog on chewed up ice.

I think they were confused with what was happening and it was easier to just stop the period to make sure things got sorted out.

Someone in the Columbus GDT posted: "Maetz says he will be ok, paramedics were there precautionary.", that looks like one of the guys who goes and interviews the players, so hopefully that is true.
