We looked like an NHL team?
So it's mainly bad luck? The Holl-Muzzin pairing has completely fallen apart and the team has the lowest oiSH% of any team in the league.
To sum it up without getting *too* into detail.
I don't think we would stink this bad if it was just a single reason! As a Leafs observer, is there a single reason for the struggles or just need to clean house and start over?
I know he's playing but is Tavares okay from last year?
This is the definition of copium. That felt like a building block period. Not only did we just look like an NHL team again, but we played with some aggression as a team. Sticking up for eachother. Let's carry that to the third please
It's a slump. They're playing defeated. Like they're still trying to figure out (like the reat of us) how the hell they blew that series against Montreal. As a Leafs observer, is there a single reason for the struggles or just need to clean house and start over?

Protecting Holl or Kerfoot after getting McCann a clearly more valuable player to both is a move which doesn't need hindsight to critique
What the f*** was Dubas thinking there.
I agree. I just don't think, what I've witnessed tonight, we look like an NHL team. This is possibly the worst I've see two teams play against each other. The quality is actually quite shocking. Every single player on that ice should be utterly ashamed.Yeah we've been playing like an AHL team for a couple weeks now imo.
What was the Soo factor? Your answer likely lies there.Protecting Holl or Kerfoot after getting McCann a clearly more valuable player to both is a move which doesn't need hindsight to critique

You're point is moot to my comment on goaltending.
Would better defense help the goalie? Well duh, but that wouldn't stop bad goals from a goalie that is shaky

Telling your own team mates to hustle more sounds pretty fired up to me. He's never done that beforeWow so fired up Matthews, he swore on the bench, lol Sportsnet.

God dang it!Wow so fired up Matthews, he swore on the bench, lol Sportsnet.
The best PP unit we've had in the big 3 era was Marner-JVR-Kadri-Bozak-Rielly. Marner would pinpoint those tip-passes to Kadri and JVR like a boss and they both had career years on the PPI mean at least he was hitting the net today. Tavares has to bury that rebound. It’s wide open net. I love Marner on the half wall. Shit actually happens when he’s there. One of the best in the league at it
Kevin Lankinen.. .884% 2.91 GAA before tonight, now .952% against the Leafs.
Toronto, making no namers look like Vezina trophy winners.
