So the last time the Caps were sitting waiting for a team on a back to back was against the Pens. Caps were down early 2-0 and weren't ready to play as they lost 4-2.

Players admitted that they expected a much easier games against the Pens and underestimated them.

We will see if they learned anything. McMichael and Protas have taken the next step for them this season and Strome has been great as well.

They are a much faster team than last season too.

I think the Capitals will have a very tough time in this game. I expect that the Leafs will not give them much time or space.

Very happy they scratched Benoit for Hakanpaa, the right decision with Timmins playing as well as he is

This Domi in a nutshell. Has stretches of good games followed by stretches of horrible games

Him and Nik needs to start scoring. Especially Nik. Goal scorer not scoring goals is never a good thing no matter how much he's hustling.

Once we trade for a center or Minten shows the leaf brass that he is ready ..he will be traded or on waivers, really disappointed in him .
Last year he played some really good games .
