I looked at it as expectations lol you're not bringing Schenn in to have foot races with Tavares in practice. You're bring him in to play hard nosed, separate players from the puck along the boards, protect around the front of your net, and answer the bell when called upon. I'm just not sure why you threw Tavares and his skating into the equation. Schenn has managed to hang around the league for 14 years. So he must be bringing something to the table

If I remember correctly the post was saying replace Ritchie because he is so slow. Schenn is slower. We even think JT is slow. That is how it started. Anyway don't expect speed is all i'm saying.
