Boston forechecks really well and plays with alot of paste, also finding its been hard getting shots through to the net.

Brodie is really the only defenseman that has made him look relatively decent and hasn't looked worse himself.

Every other defenceman that Rielly has played with, he's made them look worse then they are.

Matthews looks the same as he has all season, ineffective and a shell of himself. Related to his injury it seems, but nothing at all to do with it "being a playoff game".

The way he is playing, he's definitely nowhere near that. However I don't really think that matters. If the Leafs don't, someone else will pay him 13mil. He's the back to back Rocket winner.

I really hope he gets back to some semblance of that. They will need him to, to get anywhere in the playoffs.

The cute plays from the core four just don't work in a tight checking game like this.

It’s gotta work but with a little vinegar. Guys like Point and Kucherov are skilled players but they also bring a little nastiness.
