Ah, more brilliance.

It's early in the year, too early for me to start quoting some of the genius stuff here... but, there is some brilliant material, if Malgin continues his good play.

The takes on here by the usual suspects are the comedy we all need.

Never stop being wrong guys, never stop.

I'm fine with Malgin being in the lineup. But only if Engvall comes out.

Malgin has been better than Engvall and for a much cheaper price.

Take Engvall out, slide Simmonds in.

See if you can get rid of Engvall although I imagine he carries negative value at this point.

He's Barabanov v2. Hopefully this time it's the Leafs who reap the rewards and not another team.

Barabanov never looked as good as Malgin.

Simmonds has not been enough of a factor to play in any kind of consistent role, and certainly should not coming in for Engvall.

I disagree, he had some good games where he just couldn't finish, and the games where he did play in the top six I thought he was more notable than Malgin in the same scenario. Also, that was his first NHL shot ever in the middle of covid without the usual training camp and other developmental tools available. This is like Malgin's fifth time trying to stick in the NHL.

Give da little guy credit where it is due .. last game he was a top 3 forward for us .. and if he plays like that every game then he earns his spot .. but also remember no one is playing anywhere near playoff hockey yet when speed and size makes a much bigger difference in games

To the disbelief of a few around here, he's quitely been having a strong season as a depth player. Good underwhelming numbers, despite not great usage ect.

Good for Malgin, good for the Leafs

Good underwhelming numbers, or good underlying numbers?

Ah, more brilliance.
Clearly all NHL teams now have Geno Malgin circled on the board cause this man is truly an elite and unstoppable force

A 27 point pace over 82 and strong defensive possession and defensive play seeems pretty good for league minimum salary.
But hey double down on your previous bad takes even though you have been provided with more information.

I have him in my top 5 early Hart Trophy candidates just behind McJesus.
