After watching this presser, the Shanaplan is done. He lacks any sort of confidence in his public speaking and it’s clear he has no idea what he’s doing.

Any self respecting NHL franchise would have shown him the door years ago.

Its time to start fresh.

Surprise surprise! Shanahan - the architect of the past 10 years of failure (1 series win) appears to be keeping his job.

I guess Leafs opponents -playoff ones in particular - should be grateful.

Getting rid of Keefe wasn't enough. They all need to go. I no longer have faith in the vision of the organisation or the product on the ice.

Treliving could be getting Shanahan's job soon.

Shanahan sounded like a dead man walking, completely defeated with no answers and not even a pretend sense of enthusiasm. On the other hand Brad was composed, articulate and seems to get it.

Of course, he's only been here a year. Let's see how he looks and sounds 5 years from now after 5 more 1st-round exits.
