I don’t think so either, but a game 7 would be fun.
what bandwagon? a bandwgon for a team that won 1 series in like 20 years?
Hell yeah!People like to be negative. When the Leafs win this series, those same knuckleheads will be hanging out of their car windows driving up Yonge St.
They still have 2 more opportunities to win the series, it's very doable if they don't completely collapse mentallyBTW - where is the "it's only one game" crowd after G4?
Still feeling optimistic?
The dude was known as Patio-ready in Montreal for a reason. Like i know the health concerns but he's not exactly clutch. At minimum this team needs to take out Pacioretty and put in Robertson. Should’ve done it tonight when we had home ice and last change but Craig f***ed up. Robertson is younger, faster, more energetic, and can lay the occasional hit, even if it’s not as heavy at Pacioretty at his best. Yes you’re risking a bad penalty and but Jesus Christ he can’t be any worse than the whole whack of nothing we’re getting from Pacioretty. Plus being scratched for three straight games in favour of a geriatric may have him playing with more sense and caution.
I'm not worried about the Sens, they don't offer very much. We'll probably take the series but we ain't going deep. And then what. The Leafs can easily win next game. If anything they probably will too.
But with the history the way it is, the pessimism and frustration until then remains more than justified
Yeah, kinda hard to envision any win that isn't a 2-1 nailbiter type with deflection goals and Stolarz standing on his head.I think the history is exactly why they were. Imagine being the guys who have peformed this way all these years... must be heavy.
I mean it just kills us as fans, we have nothing to do with it, imagine owning it.
I expect it to continue over the next two games. Not saying the can't win them, but it feels like the Sens would almost have to implode for that to happen because anyone expecting the Leafs to come out and take a game are just ignoring all the past, stats and facts.
especially when Leafs were getting goals off of point shots
they continue with their fancy bullshit and get double teamed or outworked and puck goes the other way
look at ottawa working the points to maintain zone time especially in the 3rd period. PISSED ME OFF watching ottawa do it and leafs were one and done every f***ing shift except for the 4th line
Not really. We know that we Havnt improved much from years prior. They showed us that today.People like to be negative. When the Leafs win this series, those same knuckleheads will be hanging out of their car windows driving up Yonge St.
I’m no longer happy with just letting him walk. I need his firing to be public and humiliating. The only part of his tenure with the Leafs that went even remotely right was the tanking/losing. after that it’s been a decade of failure.Brendan Shanahan certainly is.
I dont care if Stolarz was the second coming tonight and the team sucked dick (missed the game due to super lengthy new phone purchase process lol)
Woll should play game 6. Stolarz got his chanced and its time for Woll now
Any other kind of Leafs win would be a blessing or a miracle or something along those lines.Yeah, kinda hard to envision any win that isn't a 2-1 nailbiter type with deflection goals and Stolarz standing on his head.
Relax that person just became a fan last year they don't get itDude this isn't just about Ottawa. That's the whole bloody point.
Dang. That's heavy.I was so frustrated I flipped to the Jays.
I was so frustrated, I flipped a table.I was so frustrated I flipped to the Jays.
I'm not worried about the Sens, they don't offer very much. We'll probably take the series but we ain't going deep. And then what.
They've gotta play the games, so I'll hold out hope that they'll go off-script this time.Any other kind of Leafs win would be a blessing or a miracle or something along those lines.
I am here for it though you know if they want to switch things up!
The funniest (slash I'm going to cry) thing is people BACK THEN were like "ok time to prove this team is different"Game 6 in 2019 really hurts. Still does.
LolYou were probably saying that when the Leafs were playing MTL in 2021.
f*** that noise. We are sour for a damn good reason and if you disagree I don't know what to tell you.
