Yo swerv, you familiar with this CanadienShark poster? he reminds me a lot of you.

Yeah, I used to post with him quite a lot on the San Jose board during the playoffs and even a few regular season games in years past.

How does he remind you of me, though? Never really got that vibe from him.

conor mcgregor is retiring. :(

Apparently he was at ringside for that fight where the one guy got KO'd and ended up dying.

He always said he wanted to get in, make money, and get out young with his health.

Experiencing that likely made him think about things.

Always wanted to see Oz, who shows it?

I enjoyed Hell on Wheels but Deadwood was excellent, another level.

Crave TV has a lot of the HBO shows for like $9 a month. Oz, the sopranos, entourage, the wire, deadwood, six feet under, etc etc etc.

No GoT though.

Crave also has a lot of Showtime shows, as well as South Park, Seinfeld, 30 rock, orphan black, community and Workaholics.

Craves TV show selection is fantastic and I take every opportunity I can to recommend it.

HBO has an excellent back catalogue of shows. AMC is great too. Besides sports, HBO and AMC are almost the only thing I watch.

Man those are the list of shows I want to eventually watch, I heard the wire is incredible.

Never heard of those two but I guess I should add it into the list.

Man anyone remember reading the Redwall series? I just stumbled upon it last night and then i realized Brian Jacque was dead...made me sad. :(

Regarding Conor's retirement, I think it's smart but I would've enjoyed seeing him fight Aldo again or Edgar.

He just has that Swerv scent to him, give him a hug and just sniff the air around and you will smell it.

I'm moving to Toronto in one month. Which neighborhoods would you all recommend that have a lot of places to walk to like good restaurants, bars and breweries?

Im not from Toronto but when I'm there I like to stop in at Gretzky's Restaurant/bar. Lots of bars and this time of year Lots of nice patios too. I cant remember some names all thanks to alcohol. Bar With No Name, its not downtown but its a block or two east of Keele subway station. My friend's wedding was there last July it was a great place.

I'm curious to hear some more feedback as well I might have to move if Edmonton gets Matthews.

On a serious note I've considered heading out east. I need a change of scenery and have always enjoyed my trips to Toronto.

Do you mean an area to live in?
If so, depends on how much money you have.

I lived in Cabbagetown for the first 4 years I lived in Toronto, and I absolutely loved it. Pretty much everything you need (hardware stores, drug stores, etc.), close enough to downtown that you can walk, plus right near a bunch of streetcars and buses, and close to a couple subway stations.

Lots of restaurant/pub options, and pretty close to the distillery district, which is awesome.

So Cabbagetown and anywhere between Kensington and Little Italy/Trinity Bellwoods would be my recommendation to newcomers.

The Annex is nice. I miss living there.
