maybe showcasing him for a trade?
after the idiocy of sending Lilly to the press box before trading him, is it possible Treliving and Berube are talking and trying to asset manage?
I don't know, I am not hopeful.
As long as Berube plays Reeves he is a zero in my mind.

Holmberg is a useful player with surprising bursts of skill and rambunctious personality but he seems to forget it and regresses into a rice cracker. If you ever unlocked that on a permanent basis he'd be a gamer, but like a lot of home grown guys they just don't take the bull by the horns.

People are gonna need to accept sooner or later that Berube likes Timmins. In my eyes Benoit has been the worst defender on the team. Rough start for him. Timmins has so many tools that Berube values... he's also a close second to OEL at executing a breakout with poise and vision. You just can't give up on a guy as big, fast and dynamic with the puck as Timmins (RHD!). He at least deserves a chance to work on his positioning after missing so much time.

Always liked Connor Timmins. Classic case of someone who looks to be finally healthy and ready to blossom. He has all the tools to be a good one. And the right coach in his corner to make it happen.

Timmins shows flashes of brilliance that others can’t. I get why he’d want to develop him into a regular when the goal is not to be perfect today, but be ready in April.
Was really hoping Liljegren would take the opportunity to work with Berube and nail his spot down, but it didn’t happen.

Happy to see Timmins getting that chance. He came in with a lot of potential and tools that needed time and play to develop but got seriously derailed by injuries.

Hes got size, good puck moving, is a RHD, and has a good shot from the blue line.

Still very early in his development and if he can continue to find his game and get better, he’s a pretty easy guy to cheer for and can bring a lot of value with him.

Def agree here. Seems McCabe was likely carrying Benoit too as he doesn’t seem to be the same guy this year, with lesser minutes. It would be nice to see Timmins get the benefit of a stronger partner, maybe something like this:

Rielly-Tanev
McCabe-Timmins
OEL-Hakanpaa

Or some variation of it
McCabe and Tim.....no way... cannot trust either one on the dside
