The way they’re playing I’m excited to watch the games

Overall the Leafs have a crappy Saturday schedule.

Wild are one of the toughest teams to play against. That game will be very tough on a back to back as well

Let’s win Saturday first. Woll then Stolarz it will be

What's everyone's thoughts on how OEL has played on a pairing with Rielly?

Would be awesome if he was actually able to play his offside against tough competition.

It will be interesting to see what the pairings look like when Hakanpaa is ready to play.

They'll probably try the schenn-boosh thing with Rielly again. He did well with physical stay at home D.

McCabe - Tanev
Rielly - Hakanpaa
Oel- Benoit/Timmins/Benning

Love seeing Reaves back in, it is always smart to make the lineup worse after a win.

Time to get some redemption for that embarrassment from last week. Blues are struggling right now too, no excuse to not destroy them. And if Woll gets the net I'm confident he's gonna deliver in front of his family and friends.

The question there would be, can that third pairing actually move the puck or will they be stuck in their own end all shift?
Agreed, that's a brutal third pairing in terms of puck movement. Might have to put McCabe back with Benoit even though McCabe-Tanev has been lights out.

The Leafs are going on their annual November run, so they will win both games this weekend regarding of who is or isn't in the lineup. However, in the middle of the streak they will lose against a mediocre team, and someone will start a "fire Berube" thread.

I don’t really care which goalie plays, but I wouldn’t change the lines

Last game was that good, keep the same lineup, Reaves can watch with some popcorn again

It's a tough decision for Berube. St. Louis roughed Woll up pretty good last time out so perhaps they saw, something they liked. OTOH, you could chock it up to Woll being rusty. Personally, I'd give Woll the start as this one is actually in St. Louis as opposed to just playing St Louis.

Last time he came bac and played a team twice in a short time coming bac from injury it was the bruins and it didn’t go well

In fairness, he was coming back from a high ankle sprain which is a much more serious injury and very hard to recover from quickly, Marner looked pretty bad as well when he came back from that and his was less serious than Woll's. Whatever he had this time was more muscle strain related. His poor outing against St.Louis was likely more from rust rather than injury related. Last night he looked way more like himself and was very sharp so I think he'll play pretty well tomorrow.

So how does Hakanpaa look on the ice? Normal? Seems we're assuming he will be in and out of the lineup, but we really hear nothing except he's close and now ready to play? Can he stay in the lineup? Such a unique situation.
