Said to my son after the 1st goal Berube doesn't know the team ... he should call time out. He will learn quickly.
I have never quite understood this.

The Leafs were always near the bottom of the pile in blown leads under Keefe.

Twice they finished top 4 in not blowing leads according to Champs or Chumps.

I guess we just remember the ones they blew as they hurt more

Well, Berube called a timeout after the 2nd. to get them back on track. I was right in my assumption they had lost their way, and he had to address it.

:dunno:

Nylander himself says he has chemistry with Tavares. Nylander enjoyed his best seasons with Tavares. Domi had like 6 goals last year.
What do expect players to say, esp in Toronto, I am better off without JT? Or we have moments?

Blowing one goal lead and a 3-4goals lead are different. On top of that, I believe the blow lead stats only shows the team losing the game and not winning after the opposing team tied it back up.

I don't disagree.

My point was the Leafs in perception lost a lot more games than in acuality under Keefe.

No doubt they seemed to get complacent and turned laughers into nail biters but they didn't blow as many games as we like to remember.

So far I am thrilled with Berube. I hope for all of our sakes he can figure this group out and help them get to the next level.

PP finally waking up. Matthews got the monkey off his back.

Bobby McMatthews is back baby!

Stolarz solid.

How long until Hakanpaa gets the cyborg knee installed?
If we could get a semi healthy Hakanpaa back... look out to the rest of the teams. That's an absolute amazing back end and big and physical and can actually move the puck finally
