Hindsight is 20/20 but Robert Thomas was taken a couple of picks after Lily and he played for the London Knights. Interesting that Hunter passed on him for Lily.

I think at that time they needed defensemen .
Hunter knew Thomas inside and out
So for him no to pick was coming from Lou.

The way Lilly has turned iam happy with the dissission.

Yep. Still remembered that draft, as Lilly kept slipping, thought Sens will pick him for sure then when he dropped to us, and watched Lou, Dubas, Hunter, and company all trying to hold their smiles, you just know they were going to draft Lilly.
Really glad they did.
