To be fair, you can say that about lots of players this season. Domi, Dewar, Holmberg, Robertson. Lots of passengers who don't do much.

Yeah, Woll has great stats, between injuries.

Heck, Woll probably has amongst their best playoffs stats as a goaltender in the past decade.

Reaves is dear to The Chiefs heart. That is why. He doesn't really do much this year.

I get that, I just don't understand why, other than the types of players they both were/are. But, to my eyes, he just accomplishes next to nothing. Ya, there were a couple of shifts where the 4th line hemmed the Ducks, but I didn't see Reaves being the factor that led to those 'good' shifts. And, while he may be 3rd in hits for the team, other than that one where he was suspended, I haven't found his game to be overly physically dominant. He's just so, meh.

Everyone thinks Matthews is some Savant or genius from another country that is very deep or complex but I guarantee in his head whether he scores or not he's thinking:

But he keeps it simple psychologically and that's why he's a good choice for Captain and able to win rockets and put up record goal totals for an original 6 team and look bored. He doesn't mix it up much. He doesn't have to. Win and tacos. Keep it simple. He's quietly looking good out there on the defensive end. Not sure he'd be penalty killing with Marner and risking further injuries which may happen under Berube but I guess the captain likes playing with Marner. Maybe it can be a game to game thing. Tacos.

Grebenkin is the free space for McMann but everyone else but Minten needs waivers. And Minten definitely shouldn’t be coming out.

Patches is looking really good out there. I remember when Chara ran him into the stanchion in Montreal and almost broke him in half. I was at a Bruins/Leafs game not long after that happened and even the Leafs fans were booing Chara every time he touched the puck for that hit. That was almost 14 years ago.
