In my years of following the Leafs, this is easily the most talented bunch i've seen.

But they won't win the Cup, cos they don't engage enough when it matters. The winning teams stop opposition players when they're in dangerous areas, they find a way to manage talent with physicality. This team just doesn't do it, and as much I hope with every fibre of my being they do, I see nothing but a future of 'what if'.

Respectfully, what team are you watching to think the Leafs don't do this. The Leafs goaltending has gone to shit the past 2 weeks, but the Leafs are playing teams hard and playing strong defensively.

Matthews has to be the biggest disappointment this season. He's been very mediocre.

He might not have scored in the oppositions net,but I think he has been skating really well tonight.
