I'm not gonna rag on Matthews because he's basically been winning games solo this year and we've won 6 in a row.

The problem is losses like this really magnify the concerns you would have with the roster construction.

I feel he's just hesitating and not reading the game fast enough. If you can anticipate well, foot speed is less of an issue. He is allowed an off game or two. Maybe he is banged up.

Absolutely. He's right there with McDavid as the best overall player in the world, IMO.

He's Peter Forsberg on steroids. An absolute bull off the side wall. The combination of speed and strength is hard for anyone to handle.
