I still think Keefe needs to get Nylander onto a different line. I don’t like him and Tavares together. Tavares has been mediocre 5v5 as well. Play JT with other slow players who can’t skate. Get Nylander with Kampf/Mikheyev

It’s not the right play. The leafs are really the only team in the NHL that play that way. It’s stupid, dump the puck in. Who cares if you give up possession. At least it’s out and it gives you a chance to change and get it back. I’ve never understood why they have that line of thinking in their system, it’s so risky.

the funny thing is that whole sequence of getting hemmed in was started because Muzzin decided to pinch and the leafs got caught. But yet people are blaming Holl.

Holl couldn't clear; he needed to get the puck higher and the Kraken were able to skate fast enough to seal the wall, but at least that was the smart play.

Muzzin had a bad pinch. He was way too late to react if that is what he wanted to do. Nylander's decision though was just fundamentally awful. He is at the end of a minute and a half shift and he decides to go backwards to more tired players?

Comes down to hating Holl for screwing up the right play, or Muzzin/Nylander being too stupid to make a rather easy decision?
