The team is MISSING THE PLAYOFFS!

I said it before this season even started that Toronto was a bottom 3 team in the NHL now, And that they will be missing the playoffs this season and many seasons to come.

I won’t be surprised if Matthews asks for a trade after this season.
 
Tavares is washed up, marner has to go, holl has to go, muzzin has to go, kampf has to go, kase has to go, dermott has to.go, Engvall has to go, Hutchinson has to go, simmonds has to go, the zamboni driver has to go!!!!
 
Marner got beat, my god, and does that. I don't care about frustration, GOD DAMMIT i was such a fan, you took too much which pissed me off and you're a shadow of your former self now.

God dammit. Bad games happen sure, but this is legitimately pathetic.

Out worked, out smarted and out execeuted in almost every phase of the game. Sure some bad bounces, but the turnovers my lord the turnovers and just general lame play are unacceptable.

The only question left for me is how early in the season does Dubas have to make a move? The GM and coach are going nowhere before the end of this season imo.

And you do realize that, for the second game in a row, they are schooled by glorified AHL teams.

Campbell is an amazing backup goalie and change of pace due to his less technical style which can surprise shooters.

I still don't see him a starter, his game has a bunch of flaws technically.

100% agree. For some reasons people forget a lot of great players enjoyed success with the Leafs. Sundin, Dougie, Clark…. You just need to produce and play hard. Fans know who is trying or not when they watch the game.
It has nothing to do with fans pressure but more to do with players under performing.

This team needs a blowout from a bunch of AHL scrubs to wake them up anyways. Pathetic performance.
 
Blame the coach and GM all you want, the players, the guys making the big bucks, are showing zero effort. Being beat by 4 by a gutted Pens roster. Blaming the coach or GM is letting the players off easy.

Babcock couldn’t get them to start on time. Keefe couldn’t get them to start on time. Leaders in leaders out all couldn’t motivate this team. Something is absolutely wrong with our makeup
