I love the look of our 3rd line so far.. Engvalls been better.

I still would like Eric Staal at the trade deadline (50% retention). To solidify the line up with good skill and experience (Thornton, Spezza, Staal) is an amazing feel of experience and mentorship to truck through a playoff push.. think about it.. worst case they're depth and can fill other holes... I also think Staal resigns here at a discount once management treats them well like Spezza has been.

Edit: and once Simmonds comes back.. you can run
Soup- Engvall- Spezza as a 4th line.. plotting Time with
Hyman-Staal-simmonds/kerfoot (depends who Keefe picks to wing JT - Willy on the 2nd line) as you're third.

I can't be the same boy one that feels this will work.
