I cant believe zach Hyman is the same player who everyone was hating for playing on Mattys wing in 2017. He got so much more skilled. I see hyman as a a Crosby (lite) version when it comes to work ethic and committment to improving aspects of his game. Obviously he began much much lower than 87 and isnt that legendary a player but Hyman just continously adds to his bag of skills each year

Got better along the boards/cycle, improved his shot, upped his play making, and is now a solid net front PP player/finisher

The issue was we worried about him driving down conversion rates, just had a ridiculously low-shooting percentage. We weren't sure if it was bad luck or he just wasn't an NHL level player above the 4th line.

Glad to see a local kid who loves the team, and grew up around me have this level of success with the team. My favorite local spot has his signed jersey hanging.
