IMO Cowan started the season stronger, but Minten has come on and shown he is quality too. In a few years both will be NHLers that is for sure

Cowen's linemates have been Clifford
Minten has been Knies

Tell him he is getting 20 games with the Marlies and then he is first call up

just came here to say that it makes me absolutely sick that we passed up on Knies and let him drop to you guys

I still can't figure out what his game really is
Is it shooting? skating? front of the net ?

Yes and if an offensive type of player goes down, he can get the call up.

I am going to sound like a broken record but I really think he would benefit from a shorter stick.

That's his destiny for sure, he can clear and there is nothing wrong with being a first call up. He's had a good camp imo.
