Leafs are the 5th lowest in the league for getting powerplays...let that sink in...there are many more non-playoff teams getting more powerplays...these refs are corrupt as they come, and have no accountability.

Also- we kept ALL those players, and lost in the 1st round again

Holl was literally benched/sat out while having a top 4 role this season. Nylander trade discussion was to balance the lineup out. Tavares is clearly the worst skater in our top 9, dont think anybody has been trying to trade him, if anything everyone knows he wont be. Marner put one of the worst playoff performances you could ask for on a top heavy team while being a tradable asset AND having the drama with his dad and the media.

Hits for the sake of hits mean absolutely nothing.
Leafs are playing well and not being pushed around. If they needed to hit more maybe they would.
As it currently stands, they simply don't need to.

2)Leafs

did really well in the 1st period, came out of it 3-1 with a couple of late goals. JT and Nylander did something 5-on-5.

second period was more of a struggle. 2 penalties against the Leafs due to poor officiating. Caps scored. 3-2.

should be a good third period. feels like the momentum is on the Caps side though.
