Blackwood has been pretty good for them so far. They won the cup with Kuemper, who put up similar stats during the season

The only reason Colorado won that series was because Tampa was on fumes. It's not an accident that Colorado hasn't come close to winning anything since. Just a series of mediocre goalies, and they have done it again this season. Blackwood is a sub-.900 save percentage goalie. Instead of trading for Nelson, they should have tried getting Sorokin from the Islanders.

They're not handling their forecheck well at all. The downside of having very little skating and high end puck moving ability.

It's crazy, Meyers literally had nothing but white ice and one Av to beat but he turned back into traffic with 4 Avs to beat on the far side.

I was always taught to split the ice in two, count the number of defenders in each half zone of your dividing line, attack the zone with less players, then draw attackers to you and move the puck to the zone with fewer defenders as they adjust to your plan.

Stolie needs to sharpen up, this game is winnable he just needs to keep it together

Be great to see the big boy shoot it in a few times, start a streak going into the stretch and give him a real good chance to hit 40 and once he's going it gives the Leafs a real shot at the Atlantic crown.
