Arizona
Keller
Chychrun

Idk but this could be good for both teams . Leafs might need to add another prospect like Aubruzze or Robertson. not sure though

The Leafs are one of the top teams in the league. Why would they trade a key/top player (Nylander) in a lateral move at best?

Coyotes would not trade Chychrun for Liljegren and a late 1st. Nor would they trade Crouse for Kerfoot.

Another deal that absolutely sucks for Arizona. Lock up this nonsense too.

it’s debatable but the two best players in this package are Keller and Chychrun. The 4th best is definitely Crouse.

it Keller played in Toronto’s top six, he’d probably exceed Nylanders production.

Chychrun has had one and a half good seasons in his career, and is having a really bad year, other than having a reasonable contract, he does nothing to help the defense.
Keller is small, and not as good as Nylander.
Keller is having the best season of his career, and is still not as good as Nylander, and Keller is less likely to maintain his pace
I'm not interested in trading for Chychrun, as he doesnt fill a need or a role the Leafs dont already have

Crouse is big, and he'd the the only asset the Leafs would covet, but, in reality, he's a marginal upgrade over what was expected from Ritchie, who was a disaster in Toronto, and looks like may be a better fit in AZ.
Kerfoot has more value than Crouse because he is a 100 foot player, and Kerfoot, can play anyplace in the top 6, and PK.
if Crouse doesnt work on our 2nd line, he'll get the Ritchie treatment, and be shuffled around the 3rd and 4th lines.

if Toronto was interested in Chychrun, they would likely have to offer Sandin, and Kerfoot (salary offset) and maybe a minor extra, and I dont think that makes the Leafs better at all.

Still pretty bad for the Coyotes IMO. They give up the 2 best players for a player they dont need (Kerfoot), a good young D that if he reaches his ceiling might be as good as Chychrun, a tiny winger, and a couple end of round draft picks.

We used to call those "hockey trades". Teams would trade from a position of strength to address a position of need. That was before hfboards showed GMs the only way to improve is to only trade cap dumps, busts, and replacement-level players.

Wouldn't trade Nylander for keller 1 for 1 nor would I trade Nylander 1 for 1 for chychurn. Chychurn has had 1 good season, hes the most over rated player in the NHL. Crouse would be a good add but he's not worth the price Arizona would be asking for.

Yes considering every player they are giving up is better.
None of those 3 players are better then Nylander. Chychurn has had 1 good season, Crouse is having a good season this year being fed prime minutes, and Keller just flat out isn't as good. So show me how any of these players should be worth more using production and stats not just your uninformed opinion.

Simlify the trade (LTIR Muzzin+Retain enough on Crouse to add a bottom line grinder)

Sandin + Kerfoot + Robertson + 1st
For
Chychrun + Crouse
Still not very good for the Coyotes. And they are not going to retain on Crouse. So simplify it even more and leave Crouse out of it.

And Toronto needs to replace Robertson with Knies.
