I had no idea he was in TO this year… I honestly thought he was still in the AHL. How has he been this season??? He was impressive years ago with Philly in his earlier years but then dropped off a cliff

A guy who is happy to sit in the press box and play when needed to let kids develop. Physical tools, not much toolbox.

Doing a good job because Berube wants him to keep it simple. Use his size around the net, but otherwise simple chip outs and no stick handling or anything like that. In offensive zone, cycle the puck and if you see an option shoot (he has a pretty big shot).

So literally playing the very basics of hockey, he has been a good fit on the bottom pair. Gets exposed as soon as you ask him to do more than that.

Can't believe this guy is still in the league. Was once a promising prospect for the flyers, but had the IQ of a rock despite great size and skating.

Yet again, this is the kind of depth we've paid for at every deadline, very refreshing not having to do that.

Myers has been a very reliable #6/7 when he has played, I have no issues with this.

... Why would you label a lesser known guy as "D Myers".

Here I was wondering how I missed Tyler Myers ending up in Toronto.

Fine as a #6/7, doesn't think the game quick enough to properly make use of his tools. If Hakanpaa had been healthy he'd probably have been lost to waivers by now
