Not a fan of either team but seems like they would be very good trade partners. Add that Treliving went from Calgary to Toronto and Michael Nylander played for Calgary this seemed to make sense to me. Not sure who adds but this reminds me of the massive Gilmour deal back in the day.

Not enough. Lindholm is worth a 1st, 2nd and prospect. Hanifin and a 2nd is worth Nylander. We'd need a prospect that's actually trending to being an NHLer, not one who got worse last year and was never great to begin with.

Hanafin I believe has an 8-team NTC. And he has asked to be traded to a U.S. team. So he would be unlikely to be any part of a Leafs deal.

Lindholm for Tavares is the trade that makes sense for me. Tavares has a NMC so probably dead but that's really the only thing that makes sense to me for a CGY/TOR trade.
