He was dreadful for half of the year, heck almost 3 quarters of the year. He didn’t make a real impact until the last 20 games. Maybe that is getting comfortable, learning the systems and players but I wouldn’t do anything over 5x5. Pay him massive signing bonus to keep the AAV Down.

Focus on getting D, work on a Marner Hockey Trade where both teams benefit. Plus don’t trade for players one year away unless you have a reasonable deal in place.
