We're still in a good position, and lucky to have this "problem". Both goalies will benefit us in the playoffs with their overall play, from beginning to end, and not just one game.

We have space from Muzzin on LTIR

And we won’t re-sign him, he’ll be dealt in the off-season. He’s a 1st line power forward who can score goals, someone is going to be willing to offer him 8 million a year + and we’ll get assets back that we used to acquire him in the first place

With retention, he’d fit under the cap. I think the idea would be to trade away his rights, or trade him after giving him a new contract, all with his input of course. It could be an interesting situation, where we could end up upgrading our first round pick.

He’s due a $10 mil qualifying offer, so you’d want to talk to his people (with permission) before trading for him.

Yeah, exactly. We're not that far away. This game can change. As a Leaf fan, I know this era can score 2-3 goals within 1-2 minutes. The game can change in a matter of minutes.

Regardless, I'm never upset with whoever is in net. Better than Campbell or Mrazek.
