I hope I own a lake someday

haha, it was a funny situation.

One family owned half of the lake, another family owned the other half. (I'm speaking property around the lake. You can't actually own water)

So the one family was my extended family. The other side was owned by a guy, my brother married the guys granddaughter. The grandfather died, and now my brother pretty much has it for himself.

Yeah I'd think so, I got in with about that. But make a strong push. They're accepting more and more students every year. They just built a new math building too.

You'll look back in a year and say to yourself "I know for a fact I could have gotten 100% in all of my highschool courses". Scholarships would have helped so damn much... now I'm almost 30k in debt, and still not done school.

I've got a bunch of the textbooks you'll need and I could lend em to you to save you money (and to teach you that you really won't need textbooks haha). Let me know if you end up coming here.

My parents agreed to pay for my tuition since I wanted to go into a trade and they told me to try Uni first.

Yeah it's about 3.5 hours north from my place. It's a SWEET spot.

My brother was going to move to north bay because it would make his trip there shorter LOL. He actually applied for a job, but they offered him like 40k less than his current job so he couldn't do it.

My brother was going to move to north bay because it would make his trip there shorter LOL. He actually applied for a job, but they offered him like 40k less than his current job so he couldn't do it.

Cost of living in North Bay would probably be WAY less than GTA though, wouldn't it? Maybe not 40k a year less, but close.

My HVAC bro is so far the most successful one. Makes boatloads of money, is married, has two kids, owns a lake, a sweet truck, a boat. He's living the life lol.

He's the oldest though, by a fair margin (he's 30).

Do what you want to do. Out of high school I was only thinking money. Bad decision but I'm glad I found Computer Science.

You could probably get something on the lake for about 40k cheaper then anywhere in Toronto. It's not that expensive there at all.
