Yeah I love your team man, I should of been smarter with my drafting but oh well.

:) I'll get those avatars ready ;)

 Yeah, Voynov is on all 3 of my teams now .. Backes is on two .. I try to steer clear of having the same names and trying different players since all 3 leagues score somewhat differently.

Horton was more or a sleeper/bust type .. At that point I needed another RW and there weren't a lot of sexy names out there, but he'll be very good if healthy (which from what I've read he feels great). He'll put up good goals and assists, while giving me PIMs and he should have a good +/- as will most of the Bruins players .. I didn't realize until today that I had 5 Bruins

Good thing is I have Backes and Eriksson that can play RW too if Horton gets hurt... Having dual position players is a huge plus

I have consistent 20-goal scorers with guys who can get 25-40 assists per season .. All my starters were + players last year, Backes, Horton, Subban, Kunitz and Boychuk will all get me PIMs .. And having checking forwards like Bergeron and Backes should get me shortie points

 I built my team the exact same way! I have checkers like Backes, Lucic, Boll, Boyle, Ruutu and then I have some strictly offensive guys like Pavelski, Versteeg, Granlund (hopefully), Gionta (if he can stay healthy), and then Lucic and Backes are good for atleast 60+ points. Plus my defensemen aren't too shabby either, I picked guys who are physical, Dion, Kronwall, Hedman, I have Voynov as well

Yeah.. I basically wrote down my strategy from things that I've learned over the years because I've gotten bitten in the *** in previous years

- Have 1 good or elite goalie, since goalie stats are so important
- Get a high-end centre, doesn't have to be elite but a second tier #1 guy .. Lots of centre depth otherwise
- There is always good depth in the middle rounds for wingers, but make sure you guy 3 good scoring wingers that can cover all categories not just scoring
- Get 1 quality scoring defenseman, the other 3 d-men should be used for +/- PIMs ideally
- 1 or 2 sleeper picks in the later rounds
- Add depth at all forward positions in case of injuries

My strategy changes as I go. But most of the time I go for balance and all around guys. The stat stuffers. Guys like Dion, Backes, Lucic, etc. always my favourites to grab because you can always count on them to fill every stat.

Argg, any way I can get my waiver priority back to where it was before in LLKL? I picked up a couple guys but they had to go through waivers first since the settings hadn't yet changed but I just noticed right now that they were finally changed and all the waiver players are now FA's. If it's not possible to change my waiver priority back then it's fine as I don't imagine I will be dropping/adding many players from now on.

Yeah it really depends on where you draft to be honest .. When you're picking at the top or bottom, you take the guy you want because players don't fall to you very often so you might as well reach if you want a guy ranked a bit low.

You can also dictate the pace of rounds too by doing that .. I started the goalie epidemic in my draft, after Lundqvist went first overall people were shocked .. Then I took Quick second overall and all hell broke loose

Also started a run on defenseman after I took Subban

Not really. My roommates were having lunchtime beers when I came home. I am just continuing on throughout the afternoon, a bit.

Ah, college...

.. Day drunk isn't acceptable in adult world

Time for a Math Question, let's see who can get it right:

If you have 4 pencils and I have 7 apples, How many pancakes will fit on the roof?

Yeah I took Lundqvist first and had to wait forever.. Took Backes and Lucic to fill out goals, PIMs, hits, +/- and PPP. Then I took Backstrom to make sure I had 2 starters because people were going nuts for goalies. Then I grabbed Dion and Kronwall. :D Worked out well.

I sense sarcasm in.. a bit.

It doesn't help when you never stop drinking..

No, I was drinking with people but not going to lie, I am now watching HIMYM crushing the odd beer.
