Is it better to do Crunches/Ab training after you've lost excess fat around your stomach areas?

Right now, I'm thinking about doing push ups, and planks for core training. Not sure how effective ab excercises will be (crunches, bicycle crunches, etc).

It's amazing how quickly you can get in shape just by doing regular cadio (3-4 times a week for me), and cutting down on excess carbs, sugar and junk. I've lost 4 lbs in 1.5 weeks :D.

Nice .. Yeah running and doing cardio frequently keeps that 4-5 points of water weight down on ya, cutting out junk foods helps a lot in the long run

I think doing core stuff first is better honestly, just because so much of your upper and lower body strength comes from your core .. Best to tone that up and it'll be a lot easier to do push ups

the more you strengthen your core the less likely you will get injured doing the cardio type workouts.

Yeah. Getting abs are more so about your fat levels then anything else.

@markhmasters: Kadri with a hat trick in Leafs scrimmage

Tell me when he gets a hat trick against actual NHLers instead of AHL scrubs :sarcasm:

Bert. Text my phone and say "you have a doctors appointment at 1:00 today. Don't forget!"

I want to leave class but don't have an excuse.

Most likely, I'll end up getting an ASUS Zenbook Prime and just run Linux as my default OS.

Windows 8 is just so stupid... I like Linux.

I love linux, especially for software development. The fact that you don't have to touch the mouse for a prolonged period saves some good time.

Unfortunately I'll be doing development in W7 this term.

What kind of Linux OS do you prefer?

I thought push ups are a part of core excercises. What other ones were you thinking of?

What the hell? A guy in my work hockey pool is so dumb (keep in mind this work pool is all about getting goals/assists/PPP).

He traded Stamkos + Campbell for Spezza + Subban.

Stamkos > Spezza
Campbell > Subban

And this is assuming Subban has a contract, which he doesn't. Lucky son of a gun who got Stammer + Campbell....

I'm on it!

... Thought about mentioning it's for the results of his STD test, but I was nice and didn't

This is why you converse and find out the homers

I have a friend who's a huge Sens homer. He'd give a left nut for Spezza in his hockey pool.

Wow, can I be in this pool??

The thing is though the biggest sens fan ever is the one who just traded away Spezza. He told the other guy that it was a good deal and he wasn't getting ripped off. Such a great friend
