Have any of you been to a leafs game in the balcony standing rooms? I'm trying to get tickets for the Canucks game on the 8th and this might be my only option. They sound pretty crappy but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Was reading up a bit on super bowl prices which got me thinking, what would you think tickets would cost to the stanley cup final game 7 in Toronto? Let's say in the next 10 years, and how much would you be willing to pay?

i'd spend up to 5,000 for a pair of Golds

My room is constantly like a ****ing sauna. I have a fan going 24/7. There was a time last week I had my window open too.

It's because my house has bad heating. There is a vent in my room, and then one in the bathroom. The bathroom vent is designed to also heat the hallway, and my room is designed to heat the other two rooms.

So it sends a mass amount of Heat to my room, in which it is supposed to go through connecting vents into another room, and then from there into another vent that connects into the third room. But it doesn't it just piles up in my room.

Oh, and if turn the heat down to low, the downstairs gets extremely cold

i would be reluctant, because if they lost i would be in utter depression

Man, Game 7 in Toronto (or any finals game that could see the Leafs win the cup that night) would increase homelessness in Toronto like crazy

I have been saving a bit though. Put a little money aside every now and again.

You actually have a savings set up for it?

No, not a dedicated account, I have it in my normal savings, but I keep track of how much I have set aside. It's not a whole lot.

The main reason is because it would be such an unreal experience, that I wouldn't want to miss it, so why not?

It sounds like whoever designed your heat runs in your house has a potato for a brain.

So for no one? :naughty:

Based on the lack of posts over the last 4 hours, this is correct.

I need to do groceries but I'm too lazy to actually take the bus so I end up just using my meal plan card on snacks all day. Last semester I ran out on the second last day of the semester, but I'm going home for a week this time so I should be alright this time around

2 tests in the next 2 days for me. After that, spending the weekend with a HS friend living in Hamilton. After that, spending most of Monday on campus with a new friend (who also lives in Hamilton) and on Tuesday, going skating with the chick (who, you guessed it, also lives in Hamilton).

Two days of hell, followed by five days of joy.

This is pretty crazy.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/20/opinion/chinas-web-junkies.html

Compulsive Internet use has been categorized as a mental health issue in many countries, including the United States, but China was among the first to label “Internet addiction†a clinical disorder.

The program featured in this video admits teenagers, usually male, whose parents typically take them there against their will. Once inside, the children are kept behind bars and guarded by soldiers. Treatment, which often lasts three to four months, includes medication and therapy, and sometimes includes parents. Patients undergo military-inspired physical training, and their sleep and diet are carefully regulated. These techniques (some of which are also used in China to treat other behavioral disorders) are intended to help the patients reconnect with reality.

Going to buy a guitar, hopefully in the next couple days.

Since I'm pretty much done playing hockey (except for the odd beer league game) I need a new hobby.

So, if I can't be awesome at hockey, might as well be good at something else

I've had that mentality since I was 16, haven't found anything I'm naturally great at, just average at many things
