I'm not completely blaming officiating here, it's no excuse to get outplayed by Montreal this badly, but it's been a joke of an officiated game.

I'm surprised they didn't reverse the call on our first goal.

Between Moore, Greene, and Severson you have 3 defensemen who never get physical with anyone in the crease.

People give Moore sh-- for his weak defense but he's a +2 on the season while Severson is a -8 and Greene is a -3.

If Cory returns to form and we can score goals at the pace we were, I think we'll be just fine.

But the shots for in some of these games have been absolutely pathetic, as opposed to earlier in the season.

Getting outshot this badly by Montreal? Most people know Montreal doesn't outshoot opponents like this very often, especially not when they've had a lead for most of the game.

All 3 goals have been due to poor defense so this is just what's come to be expected.
Tomorrow is going to be ugly. Blues are too physical for this team.
Another losing streak in the making

You have poor judgement (and clearly no goalie perspective) 1st goal he couldn't see, 2 guys in front of him. 2nd goal I agree it was weak...as a goalie at the nhl level you need to catch it or at the very least control the rebound, not let it drop where it can be played,and in this case knocked in by a defender.. 3rd goal, not his fault at all, no defense, an outstreached leg will only remain flat for so long be foreign it'll raise and a puck will go under. He better not play tomorrow, start my fellow long islander

It's probably nothing but Habs fans telling everyone how happy they are to be rid of Subban and the cure for cancer and how great Shea Weber is and how he's gonna push them to the top. Despite more than half of them complaining about the trade for the two months after it was made.

That's what they were saying back in October at least, I've stayed away from most Habs main board threads since then. No patience for their BS and fantasy land garbage.

Yes and no.

On 5-on-5, we can't seem to control Montreal's speed right now. Maybe the PPs has been helping them, but we're scrambling all over the place tonight.

It seems like we're doing everything we can to prevent them from scoring and never have any sustained pressure or controlled breakout.
