and Koivunen and Pono (both seconds) are now two of Pittsburgh's top 5 prospects. We're hitting better than most teams even if we haven't had a star level hit since Aho (Nikishin and maybe Artamonov could be changes there)

About time they hit on a decent forward in the latter rounds. Aho as a low 2nd in a generationally deep draft doesn't count

aho was 35th overall, 5th pick of the 2nd round. is that low?

i hate trying to talk about draft picks - does low mean later in a round, or lower number so occurring earlier in the round?

i agree i'd like to hit on more of those late-round darts. hopefully, since it is still a sort-of new thing and those later guys are either overseas or just take longer in general, maybe it improves. hopium for me.
