I actually liked what I saw from Desharnais.
The effort is there.

you know what...i dont give a **** about effort (I rarely give up on players but..). The guy is always on his ass, never controling the puck, cant make a pass tape to tape...enough is enough. If Therrien wants him on the team, well make him a 4th line C and make him dump the puck so his wingers go forecheck. I just cant anymore. I'd go with Bournival as the 3rd line C.

EDIT : What about putting those lines when Briere comebacks?

Galchenyuk Eller Gallagher
Bournival Plekanec Gionta
Pacioretty Briere Bourque

Is Markov really 34? He's been our best D since the start of the month.

If he stays relatively healthy, Markov could probably play in the NHL until he's 40 if he chooses to do so. He might not be in the same league as Lidstrom but he similarly relies mostly on his intelligence and skill, plus likewise he's in very good physical shape.

Here's my hypothesis, Renaud Lavoie bolts, so RDS has to find a new insider, they make a deal with TSN to use Pierre LeBrun every once in a while until Felix is ready to be said insider.

Makes sense. But I think its gonna take a while, unless LeBrun starts giving him some sources.

Then again, we will see the trade-deadline. But on twitter, I haven't seen much from him.

I agree with you 100% There are far better options on this team than Desharnais.
I'm just saying.. atleast there is something there.

Markov: Quietly roaring his way back to the motherland.

I dont think so. I think he will easily resign a contract Montreal asks him too.
I dont think KHL makes any sense to him, after how hard he's tried to fit in to the country.

I mean the guy got his Canadian citizenship. That HAS to be mean something right?

I wasn't being serious, it was a joke about the "quietly" and "roaring" expressions being tossed around on the main board.
