Does he have an offensive side to his game? Just looked at his AHL stats last year in his rookie year and put up 21 points in 53 games… obviously not earth shattering but still pretty damn good

He's come a long way offensively.

Got surprising soft mitts for a big physical D and a really hard shot.

Hard shot. Might get some points off being a good skater. Not much offensive upside outside of that. His game is more about his defense.

Not a whole lot of offensive upside but it's a part of his game that will get underrated. As other's have said he has a big shot and moves well, he has shown he will jump into the play from time to time. Likely takes some time for him to get acclimated offensively.
 
Didn't have a great training camp but he's looked right at home at the NHL level.

Getting more confident at physical engagement, making simple skill plays, and his crease clearing saved a sure goal tonight.

Safe to say he's a full time NHLer now.
