Puck moving defenseman. Not the most exciting player, but gets the job done. Can skate, move the puck, average or better defense, and he has some offensive ability. He's probably a mid-round pick next year. Similar player to his brother, Eamon, who was drafted in 2020. The main differences are that I think Seamus is an inch or two taller, Seamus shoots left and Eamon right, and Eamon is probably a little more exciting and has slightly higher potential. Same type of projection though as Eamon.

I think his biggest flaw right now is his defense. He needs to get stronger to be effective at this level. Is easily pushed off the puck and not able to compete against bigger guys in his own zone. Also gets beat by speedy forwards often. Definitely needs to shore up this part of his game. There really is not part of his game that is elite - offense or defense. Average all around. With some real flaws mixed in. I like his potential but right now I'd say he gets picked in later rounds.
