Most pleasant surprise in HIFK's SM liiga team so far this autumn.
Some HIFK fans say Nykyri has been HIFK's best dman and he's out scored and out played Aron Kiviharju.

If Nykyri stays healthy he should be a ''lock'' of Finland's U20 WJC roster.
Nykyri already had OK U18 WJC's in Espoo this past April but he didn't get drafted to NHL some reason.
