I think this guy is going to get drafted. Has very little discussion, but I have started to see some. I think he was on the recent Dobber top 64. He’s a flashy puck-handler with solid size at 6’1 and he skates well. His defensive game needs some work. It’s not terrible, but he’s not exactly a defensive specialist. He doesn’t get that much ice time, and I haven’t seen him getting any PP time. I’d ignore the numbers. Probably will only be picked the last couple of rounds, but I also have a hard time believing someone won’t pick him. He’s also one of the youngest players in this draft and only in his first USHL season, which is different from most of the best draft-eligibles who are in their second season. Committed to Wisconsin for 2026-27. Has 4+7=11 points in 43 games.

I think Osburn has a real chance to play. He's grown on me a lot throughout the year. Early on, I didn't care for his game, but he's looked better and better every time I've seen Youngstown play. He's solidified a top 4 role for Youngstown. Real smart puckmover. Doesn't have a ton of offensive flash, but he's the type of guy who helps your transition game and allows a team to play fast. Good puck composure and pretty shifty with the puck. Likes to activate in the offensive zone. This is probably the best example -

He's a fine skater, but if he was a touch more dynamic, I'd be really excited about his upside. I think he projects as a 3rd pairing puckmover who provides secondary offense if he makes it with a chance for more. He's young for the draft and trending upward. Someone I'd be targeting once you get past more of the sure things. I'd be happy to take him in the 4th.

EP just throws shit at a wall for ~50% of guys in terms of when they'll be in the NCAA. Osburn graduates HS (unless he accelerated) in 2025, which would likely mean he steps on UW's campus in 2025-26, unless Hastings tells him to go back to junior for another year.
