Surprised he had no thread. Probably going to be the highest drafted Finn. He's a left-shot defenseman that skates well and is more of a puck-moving defenseman than anything. Can run the PP, but probably not an elite skill guy (more of a PP2 if he makes the NHL). Defends okay, but needs to get more physical and stronger. He's 6'0, so not that small, but definitely not big and physical. Good chance to be a second rounder I think.

I'm not. Late third or probably fourth round at best. He's nowhere near Niemelä who got drafted in third round back in the days and had showed a whole lot more than Boelius.
He's not even considered for the WJC's.

Him, Kotajärvi or Westergård will go first of finns and that says it all. There is no competition and most likely the 2007 born players will be the weakest for Finland in 15 years. 2006 are like 20 times more competitive and 2008 at least 10 times.

But I hope he can become good and reach his full potential of course.

Over Kotajärvi or Westergård?

Jea I have him top Finn now too followed by Kota and Westergård. Atte Joki is a player Ive been warming to this season and the overage Rimpinen is interesting case strong Liiga season if he does well WJC no idea where he is in draft boardds

Put on a show in the shootout yesterday. Official stats say he scored 3 out of 4 but to me looks like he scored 4 out of 4. anyway clip
