I think he’s still a lock to play NHL games though. Guys who are big and can skate and handle the puck always make it.

Uh, no. It's not only about physical attributes. There are plenty of players with such attributes who can't do it in NHL.

You can look at someone like Markus Niemeläinen who supposedly has all the attributes but in practice is wildly ineffective.
