says that he thinks he has the issues with the groin injuries fixed after seeing a specialist. Hope to see a breakout year and then have him turn pro in Laval so there isn't all the talk of will he sign or will he go UFA in August 2023.

Maybe the groin issues are still bothering him but he hasn't had the offense I would have expected out of him as a junior. Seems to be more in a shutdown role, hope he can turn up the production though. I originally thought 3 years would be enough but he may be better off returning for his senior season

I don't know if it's still bothering him but he's created a number of chances offensively, just isn't going in for him. He's on the 2nd PP unit behind Harris who gets about 90 seconds or so on average per PP I'd say, leaving Struble with around 30 seconds per. On top of that NU has been hit with injuries at forward, their PP is struggling and the offense is down as they have scored just 36 in 14 games so far.

That said we'll see if Struble is back at NU next year, as Harris will be gone and he would be the top pairing LD and PP so that would be a good test for him.

pts in back to back games for the 1st time this season.

He had 16 pims as he got cross checked in the back and then got up and grabbed the guy.

For him Montreal is blocked. Xhekaj took his place. Guhle is out of reach. Harris is also there. Matheson is installed and perhaps another defender selected in the 1st round will be added.

I think it's very likely that he will be offered one, Kent Hughes was clear in an interview in November they are happy with his progression and he dropped his name in the same sentence as Hutson, Farrell and Tuch. Hughes was also Struble's ''family advisor'' before he became Habs GM. The question is more does Struble sign the contract considering how many young LD's the Habs have.
